Bend, OR

The Johnson family (my wife’s sister, her husband, and their boy) wanted some family photos taken by me. The only snag in this idea is that they live about 15 hours away in Bend, Oregon. Being that we love these people dearly, enjoy road trips in general, and have a unique fondness for Bend, it was a no-brainer. Road trip time.

So we set off and decided to document our little journey.

It should be noted that we skipped sleep on the drive up and drive back in order that we could spend more time with them. Although it took a bit of a toll on our mental clarity, it was very worth it.
